The much-publicised concert came off at the Accra Sports Stadium but the BET Award-winning rapper – who was booked to perform alongside the Grammy winner – didn’t get the chance to mount the stage.
According to him, it wasn’t his fault – partially or indirectly blaming the organisers for his absence on the stage.
One of his fans who was at the event to see him quizzed on Twitter: “King @sarkodie some people bought ticket mainly to watch you perform. Please what happened?”

Sarkodie responded by apologising and added that it wasn’t ‘intentional’.
“Very sorry…definitely not my fault … More info will be given… but you know I wouldn’t intentionally “not perform” See y’all at #Rapperholic2019” he tweeted.
