Christopher Panford, entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Technol Services, has established that it is the duty of the man to provide financially in the home but it should not be a bother if the woman is also financially capable of providing.
Discussing on ‘financial responsibility in the home’ with Nana Yaw Odame on eTV Ghana’s Men’s Lounge show, he stated that finance is basically about planning, income and expenditure and according to him, it is best when the first planning or budgeting is done by both the man and wife.
‘’As a couple you should try and do your budgeting together. Now when it comes to the income, I think that whatever it is, the man should put that on the table and with expenditure, women like to shop, travel and enjoy a lot so it is best to leave the expenses to the woman to take care of’’, he explained.
Mr. Panford furthered that at the end of the day, if the man provides the income that they both budgeted or planned, then he has done his part, thus, if the woman has more to offer in the marriage, it shouldn’t be a bother as it rather comes to support the home.
