Fred Pappoe, Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant, has emphasized that the role of women in the governance of football is something that cannot be overlooked.
Speaking at the first-ever GFA presidential debate, he lauded Nana Aba Anamoah and Madam Odofoley on their immense role in pushing Ghana football in recent years.
He believes that more can be done in getting the best out of women in pushing Ghanaian football high.
Mr Pappoe advised, “Going forward, to whoever wins the President seat we should progressively start to see more women actively engaged in football governance”.
Mr Pappoe believes the women, if allowed the seat in football governance, will see to it that men are prevented from going out of their way, as they tend to behave naturally.
