A celebrated Sports Presenter, Ekow Asmah, who asserts his inheritance as Christ’s Ambassador, is set to launch his first Christian book, entitled, ‘CONFESSION of Mary.’
The book is a comprehensive guide for the yet unsaved-world, seeking God’s salvation
The book also unveils foundational truths, reminding “today’s Christian” of irreversible benefits of their inheritance, giving them more reasons to celebrate eternal salvation.
According to Ekow Asmah, both the content and the title of the book were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
‘’The Holy Spirit has kept prompting me to write about Mary, at least over the course of the past three years. Each time though, I kept wondering why, Mary? Why not JESUS, our Lord and Saviour’’ he said.
He recounted how during the COVID-19 induced lockdown, the Spirit of God kept revealing some biblical texts and scriptures to him.
‘’During the lockdown last year, beginning in March, the Holy Spirit kept downloading into my spirit one nugget of scripture after the other, leading to many, great foundational truths, culminating in my first gospel of salvation book, CONFESSION of Mary’’ he said.
He believes that Mary was the first Christian, by confessing JESUS as her Lord, God, Saviour, while carrying the greatest endowment in history, and that, her confession needs to be highlighted as a guiding principle for the unsaved world to emulate.
‘‘Mary was the sole representative of mankind and human member of the salvation committee. Could anybody possibly know more about salvation than Mary? Nobody’’
He also said that he may be new when it comes to the Ghanaian Christian space, but he believes God takes the unqualified and qualifies him.
‘’I may be known in sports and radio presentation but God touched my heart and gave me message for mankind and I will deliver it. I invite all Christians to join me on the 29th October as I launch my book’’ he said.
The launch will take place at Christ The King, on the Switchback Road, overlooking, ‘The Jubilee House’ on 29th of October from 3pm to 8pm.
The event which promises to be Holy Spirit filled, will be hosted by Rev. Nyansah Boakwa, the host of award winning religious and social radio show, Nsem Pii which airs on Happy 98.9FM
