Life coach and CEO of Spearhead Consult, has shared tips on how people can deal with their stress.
Interviewed on Live Chat with Paul, he propounded that every language one uses is a label of his experience so if we are able to help people change the experience within them i.e the meaning they attach to things, then we can help them deal with stress.
‘’For instance, work may feel overwhelming but we can work on people to say that it’s a challenge instead of a problem. When you call it a challenge, it changes the dynamics; it becomes something that you must overcome not a problem that will overcome you’’, he said.
He also added that people can learn to deal with stress by changing their physiology. For instance, there are breathing exercise techniques that when taught, can help people to tone down stress.
These exercises or stress-dealing techniques can be taught by anyone who is into positive psychology,someone who understands the needs and wants of humans and how to encourage and motivate them, anybody with Multiple Brain Integration Technique(Mbit) background and sometimes even pastors.
