The YCE and Y Army are communities of YFM listeners across Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, comprising social media influencers, young executives, listeners, callers, tertiary students, fans of YFM presenters among others.
Members of Y-Army, by way of affiliation, get access to career growth opportunities, commercial opportunities, modelling, ad spots and special invites. Members also benefit from the very valuable mentoring and training sessions.

Speaking about the repackaged clubs, Director of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC) Timothy Karikari explained the reasons for the formation of the two clubs.
‘’The aim and objective of the Y Army and YCE is to Recognize and mentor students through creating a platform for students to network and grow their potentials through internship opportunities. We also encourage and market young talents in the various tertiary institutions and increase youth advocacy to drive social campaigns”.
The award winning tertiary radio show YCE, spear heads the YCE fan club which has helped halls like Pent University of Ghana Legon adding some spice to their hall week celebrations with some exciting activities like ‘YCE Cypher’, ‘fastest mouth pizza competition’ and a ‘PlayStation 4’ competition among others.
YFM is not for only the young but also the young at heart and we created the Y Army for corporate executives who enjoy YFM shows and events, to come together network, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere’’, he stated.
