Reggae and dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in the showbiz industry as Stonebwoy, has stated that he is not yet a superstar.
This is highly contrary to public perception, as the artiste is one of Ghana’s celebrated musicians churning out hit after hit to the pleasure of his BHIM Nation supporters.
Speaking with Foster Romanus on e.TV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show, Stonebwoy, he said, “No! I have not reached my goals; I can say I’ve gotten there when I die; since I’m alive, there’s more to see and experience”, Stonebwoy retorted.
A surprised Romanus asked the showstopping musician what was left to achieve, to which he responded, ”I have achieved certain things but I have not reached that point where I can confidently say I’m done”.
According to the ‘Bawasaba‘ hitmaker, he has more music to produce, more life to live, longer locks to grow and more beard to keep.
“If you think because I have a million followers I have reached then no, because people have more [followers] than I do” he said.
Stonebwoy added, “Stonebwoy is a musician, someone’s brother, son, husband, Stonebwoy is the people and I’m popular for what I do”.
Stonebwoy, who turns a year older on March 5, will be celebrating at Labadi Beach Hotel with his fans.
