Nigerian DJ and record producer, DJ Spinall born Oluseye Desmond Sodamola has shed more light on his relationship with beverage brand, Smirnoff.
The DJ who has been a brand ambassador for Smirnoff since 2015 explaining why their relationship keeps improving year on year said, “The synergy between both brands is very commendable, passionate and original. Smirnoff is a brand that I share a lot in common with. In terms of what their goal is as a brand”.
Using the motto of Smirnoff, ‘we’re open’ as the common denominator between the two brands, he stated that just as the beverage is a brand for all, so is he.
“Smirnoff is a drink for everyone. It is a brand for everyone from the rich, the poor to even pastors. That is who I am too. I am open to everyone and like to work and collaborate with people”, he stated.
The relationship between the two brands which keeps getting better every time is hinged on the mutual support and synergy between the two.
DJ Spinall said, “The brand synergy between Smirnoff and I is powerful. It is a powerful brand which supports me and my music. They suport my videos and that is why you always see their products in my videos. It is a realtionship we’ve kept for so long which keeps getting better every time”.
He made this known in an interview with Y 107.9 FM’s Dyrve of Your Lyfe with Kojo Manuel.
Explaining how his deal with Smirnoff is renewed year on year, DJ Spinall indicated that the relationship is working.
“It is a working relationship because I do my part. I am not the brand that just takes the money and refuse to honour my part of the deal. It is a company and they are spending money on my brand so they can make money on their brand. It’s a collaboration between the two of us and even our names, Smirnoff and Spinall rhyme”, he declared.
