Deputy National Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Isaac Jay Hyde, has stated that the Ghanaian youth has never had a far more promising future than now.
Speaking in an interview with Kwabena Don Prah on Happy 98.9 FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ political talk show, Mr. Jay Hyde said, “I say that because I know the resilience of the Ghanaian youth. There is no way the problems in the country can be solved all at once. As a matter of fact, the largest economy in the world, the United States of America with over 400 million running per 18 trillion economies has not solved all its problems.”
He believes that with the resolutions initiated by Government, unemployment and other problems affecting youth in the country would be resolved.
“It’s not surprising we have challenges. It is under this government today we say food inflation is sky rocketing. It’s true, it’s not everything that we can solve overnight. This same gov’t in 2019 had a single digit inflation, so if we are going through difficulties, I believe this same gov’t would be able to solve it “
“The state of the Ghanaian youth has never been this bright with the measures put in place irrespective of the challenges we face. If we take advantage of them would help,” he added.
He stated that the challenges the youth face “did not start today. There have always been problems and it won’t end tomorrow or at any point in time”.
Mr. Jay Hyde maintains that if the youth could take advantage of opportunities at their disposal, issues in the country can be resolved quickly.
