Ghanaian rapper, Strongman has disclosed why he decided to change his appearance.
According to him, he has no reason in particular for dyeing his hair.
In an interview with Doctar Cann on Happy 98.9FM’s Ayekoo After Drive show, he said, “I got tired of the old look and my dread locks was always getting itchy so I decided to get rid of the locks in order to feel free and after doing that, I felt the level of the hair was too low for my liking and I decided to grow it again and dye it instead.”
He explained that he also felt dyeing his hair was suitable for his brand and career as a musician.
“I believe each profession comes with certain rules that should be obeyed and as a musician, If I feel like dyeing my hair, getting tattoos and piercings is going to give me the recognition I need, then I will go ahead and do it,” he said.
He however added that not every kind of profession demands that kind of appearance. “For a profession like teaching, it will be inappropriate to see a teacher with dyed hair. As a matter of fact, if I take my daughter to school and the teacher’s hair is dyed, I will definitely take my daughter back home because a teacher should not appear like that. They should look very decent,” he noted.
