Two of Ghana’s excellent presenters, Foster Amponsah Romanus and Nana Quasi-Wusu, all under the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company Umbrella (e. TV Ghana, YFM and Happy FM) have bagged award nominations in the upcoming National Communication Awards.
The awards ceremony which is set for November 7th, 2020 will see these two compete with other presenters in Ghana to emerge winners.
Nana Quasi-Wusu of YFM Takoradi, as a host of the Dryve of Your Lyfe show, has over the years excellently delivered educative yet entertaining programming to his listeners.
It comes as no surprise that in 2019, his show was ranked by GeoPoll as the number one afternoon show in the whole of Western Region.
Speaking on his nomination, Nana Quasi-Wusu expressed gratitude to his listeners and the award board, RAD communications limited for recognizing his work and nominating him in the scheme.
Nana Quasi-Wusu, who has been nominated in the categories of Radio Personality and Radio Host (Male) of the year has appealed to listeners to vote massively for him using his codes 5914 and 5094 in the two categories he has been nominated in.
“This is a great height I have reached. However, this will not have been possible without the ardent listeners of YFM.
I appeal to all and sundry to vote massively for me in these categories. I believe a win for me will not be a win for me only but a win for all of us”, Nana Quasi-Wusu said.
TV host Foster Romanus, who also doubles as a stand-up comedian has also been nominated in the category of TV presenter of the Year (Male).
He took over e. TV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show from Eddy Blay in 2018. Since that time till now, Foster has shown nothing but excellence in his TV presenting.
Prior to that, he had hosted several shows which include e. TV Celebrity Soccer and Friday Night with Foster which got a nomination for the Most Popular TV Show at the 2014 Television Ghana Awards.
Speaking on his award nomination, Foster shared how excited he was about his nomination and appealed to his fans to massively vote for him.
“It feels good to be nominated for this award. As the support has always been, I call on my fans once again to show their support by voting for me. The voting process has begun. And I will urge all to use the shortcode 920 2020#, select option (1) Vote and enter the code 6307 and follow the prompt.
