During this month of love, Alliance Francaise Accra brings something good for you and the entire family. We welcome Jean Sangally, the ‘Blues man’ to Ghana on Saturday, 11th February, 2017.
Jean Sangally was born in Cameroon where he received his inspiration, mix of rhythms and melodies. At the age of three, he started learning guitar while listening to the old guitarist and singer NZIE CROMWEL. Jean, who also spent most of his years in Europe, learnt a lot from western music which he combines with his African origin to produce excellent tunes.
This artiste is, with no doubt, one of the best specialist of French Blues. The poetic nature of his songs laced with love themes and accompanied by harmonious tunes will make you ask for more. His delivery in is on point which leaves no one left out but all audience taken on a journey in the world of blues . You quickly jump into the music the moment he starts delivering the well-written pieces. He tells stories alongside singing which makes performance remarkable. He is described as a man with a sweet voice who sings beautiful songs. He recounts his experiences, travels, with sense of humour and tenderness in performance.
The combination of lyrics and instrumentals makes his music pleasant to the ear. You feel his heart in the song and you can relate to his music since it is about love, people, friendship and interesting themes in the society. His performance cuts across all backgrounds from Africa, Europe and the entire world.
Organisers look forward to see the general public come in their numbers to see the talented Jean Sangally dish best from his Blues chest.
