Ghanaian Afrobeat musician, Kimani Musik has asserted that he has been doing music almost his entire life.
Interviewed by Foster Romanus on the Late Nite Celebrity Show, he stated that he started singing in church at a very young age but he started professional music only about a year ago.
Talking about what pushed him to professionalize his singing, he said, ‘’In my family we have singers but none of them has come out to commercialize it and I decided we all can’t die without the world seeing what we are made of so I had to break the shell and bring it out’’, he said.
Kimani revealed that to take up his music career, he had to leave behind his degree in mathematical science and this shows how much he believes in his talent.
