Shatta Wale is annoyed with artists who don’t portray him well in their crafts and has therefore sent a message of caution to them to either do it well or never try at all.
It’s always an honour to any celebrity when a painter represent his real image in the form of art and this practice seems to be trending lately. You remember the barber who used his ingenuity to the draw Shatta Wale on a customer’s hair?
However, it looks as if the Dancehall artiste is not enthused about the way some artists draw him.
This is in reference to a photo of the SM boss holding a microphone and performing a song, drawn by a yet-to-be identified painter.
In a Twitter post, Shatta Wale said although he appreciates those who try to paint him, he would not condone any appalling work from any artiste that has not mastered his art.
He wrote:
I appreciate those who draw me but if you haven’t mastered your art, don’t come close to me. I no dey play like that.
I APPRECIATE THOSE WHO DRAW ME BUT IF YOU HAVEN’T MASTERED YOUR ART, DONT COME CLOSE TO ME. i no dey play like that. https://t.co/iVWXVDNEsj
