Tonyi Senayah, CEO of Horseman Shoes, has asserted that his inspiration for shoe designs comes from all around.
He revealed that every morning when he is out in town, he looks at the young corporate men going to work and their outfit inspires him with ideas on what shoes would match their clothes. He also shared that some of his designs are made from customers’ feedback.
‘’For instance, with the non-laced design that we introduced recently, we asked customers what they would want differently and for those developing potbellies, they find it difficult bending down every morning to lace their shoes so we designed the slip-on to make it easier for them to wear or to knock off when they’re tired’’, he stated.
Mr. Senayah added that the target market he is focused on is the middle-class men. He said, ‘’These are people who have aspirations and ambitions and they would obviously want to be at the top. When you ask them who their mentors are, they will definitely mention people who have achieved in society and before they will get to the top of whatever they are doing, they will need a lot of stamina, energy, focus, and they would have to run to complete their race therefore, they will need Horseman Shoes for that journey.
