Budding Ghanaian rapper, Frank Nana Okese Afranie known in showbiz as Okese1 has indicated that he is set to bring a stellar performance in the Ghanaian music industry in less than a year.
The ‘Yie Yie’ hitmaker when questioned by Rev. Erskine on YFM’s Myd Morning Show about where he sees himself in a year’s time, responded: “A year from today is too far. From how I see things, Okese 1 is going to be one of the biggest artiste in Ghana in less than a year”.
Okese 1 furthering on the viability of his aspiration shared that he had once told an acquaintance that his name will be known in the music scenes in Ghana. Two years down the line, everyone can attest that people are getting to know of him and his music.
According to him, this confirms that his dream of becoming one of the biggest Ghanaian artistes in less than a year is sure to come to pass.
Meanwhile Okese 1 has noted that Ghanaians have not seen many sides of him. He shares that as a ‘mysterious’ musician, he is preparing to bring a whole lot of variety in the music scenes from albums, EPs among other things.
Okese 1’s song ‘Yie Yie’ has been accepted by the Ghanaian populace and has become a street anthem. Besides, ‘Yie Yie’, the musician has other songs such as ‘Woso’, ‘Shout’, ‘Obi Ne Yem’, among others to his credit.
He is out with a new single dubbed ‘Na Today’.
