Ghana has confirmed 73 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 287.
The new cases were announced on early on Tuesday morning.
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) said the increase in cases was as a result of “enhanced contact tracing and testing”.
The GHS said that the mandatory quarantining of travellers who had arrived in the country between 21 and 22 March, before the borders were closed, had ended.
Some 1,030 people were quarantined during that period and 105 of them tested positive in two different test phases.
