Ghanaian singer and song writer, Patrick Nana Kwakye, has cautioned both uprising and existing musicians to have spiritual backing aside the support and admiration of fans and loved ones if they desire to make an impact with their music
The ‘Pressure’ hitmaker mentioned that, it is important as an artist to work hard and make intentional efforts but without a spiritual background, precisely a strong one there is no possible way you can stand the test of time in the industry. He believed that prayer is a prerequisite activity that is needed in the life of every musician.
“Many artistes work so hard; huge sums of money are being pushed into their career but their progress is nothing good to write home about.” Kwame emphatically stated and premised this on what he would want as an uprising artiste aside money in his musical career, a question asked by Akua Sika of Happy 98.9FM’s Happy Evening Drive.
The talented singer indicated that “Preacher or Preacher or Ahoufe” is a household name known to all his fans. A name that goes a long way to explain why he finds it imperative to have a strong spiritual background.
