Sensational Ghanaian gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing has revealed that there is no Unity in Christianity.
The ‘I Swerve It’ hitmaker claimed that some Christians in Ghana think their church is better than that of others so they show less respect to those they do not fellowship with.
“If I attend church A and the other person attends church B, they think church A is not from God. but theirs is from God. If you are not their pastor, then you not a pastor. that is why those who don’t attend church don’t want to come to church” she claimed.
Speaking on e.TVGhana’s The Late Nite Celebrity Show with host Fosters Romanus she said, “there is no unity in the Christianity fraternity. Christians are fond of criticizing others who they do not share faith with”.
Meanwhile Joyce Blessing’s claims confirms Paulina Oduro a seasoned high life musician’s earlier submission on the international women’s day edition of Late nite celebrity show hosted by another musician Stephanie Benson that young ladies should not divert their passion for secular music to do gospel because of the notion that gospel musicians are holy and their secular counterparts are not. Because at the end of the day it is only the lyrics that differentiate the two genres
It’s like doing secular music makes you less of a woman or you are not good enough. Gospel is only the lyrics,” Paulina commented
Joyce Blessing, however, came into the limelight in 2014. She is known for her hit songs ‘Boot for Boot’, ‘Agyebum’,’ ‘I swerve you’ and ‘repent‘.
