The sound engineer at the maiden edition of the Thanksgiving concert of the self-acclaimed Dancehall king, Shatta Wale almost turned the Shatta Movement (SM) president into a laughing stock as the sound went off for more than an hour.
As at 3:15 am on Saturday morning the sound went whilst Shatta Wale was preparing to mount the stage after performances from various underground artists and his militants [Captain, Addi sef and joint 77].
SM fans at the concert started hooting and throwing water bottles at the sound engineer and everyone on the stage. it took the intervention of the security present at the event to return everything to normalcy.
The concert which was attended by over 200,000 SM fans was organised by Shatta Wale to show appreciation to his loyal fans for being with him throughout the music year. The SM chief promised to do it every year.
