Chief Technical Officer of NALO Solutions Limited, Joy Larnyoh, has observed that working from home has become the norm in corporate business and is also very beneficial.
Discussing the topic ‘Working from home and its benefits’ in an interview with Paul Anomah-Kordieh on eTV Ghana’s Live Chat with Paul, Joy shared that working from home has a great many benefits and depending on how an organization is organized and how prepared they are, they can easily work from home.
Talking about the preparations that should be made, he said, “ Once you’re working from home, you need to have the tools to work with. For instance, if you are a sales person, your job primarily involves calling up clients and generating leads, that is, people who will require your services. Generating leads will require a form of research over the internet and lead generation as a sales job role can be done online”.
“If you need to call prospective clients and book meetings, you can do that online. In fact, if there is no way of doing physical meetings, you can have your meetings online via phone calls or any other online tool available. Same way if you need to prepare your report, you need Microsoft office tools so if you have your desktop or laptop at home, you can easily create your report and send them through email”, he furthered.
Mr. Larnyoh concluded that for most jobs, communication and productivity can go on remotely, without any need for physical access and all that is needed is having the right tools in place.
