Ghanaians have taken to social media to share their displeasure towards Sarkodie after the rapper allegedly sidelined Nigerian underground artiste, Inkboy in his music video.
Inkboy was featured on Sarkodie’s ‘One Million Cedis’ song of the JAMZ album which is gaining an impressive number of streams on music streaming platforms.
Inkboy however took to his social media to express his disappointment in Sarkodie who declines every request he makes to be given exposure. “I’ve got mad love for King @sarkodie Allah knows this from my heart. But why don’t I ever get a little chance too? I appreciate putting me on the record but you’re like a dad to me so treat me like a son too.” he bemoaned.
The young songwriter indicated that Sarkodie failed to notify him on the release of One Million cedis official video. He also recounted how he pleaded with Sarkodie to perform the song at the recent edition of Sarkodie’s ‘Rapperholic’. “I begged like I was going to cry to be at the Rapperholic but that didn’t work sure I can’t be entitled but I just heard about the One Million Cedis video, three days ago. I didn’t even know it was going to drop today. Just saw people tagging me lol.” he tweeted.
