SES HD plus and partners set to thrill Ghanaians with high-definition (HD) football viewing

SES HD PLUS Ghana’s premium satellite television service provider today announced that, together with its partners, YFM, Samsung and Electroland, will show the 2021 edition of Africa’s greatest sporting event, the African Confederation Cup (AFCON), live to football fans in HD at selected viewing centers across the country. This is to give football lovers the ‘FeeliFeeli’ experience that the HD+ service offers consumers in their homes. 

The outdoor viewing is aimed at giving everyone a first-handfeel of the 2021 AFCON in High-Definition while cheeringtheir nations to victory – an experience, consumers of the HD+ service enjoy daily. Football lovers across the country can enjoy the 2021 AFCON showing on GTV Sports+HD at the Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi Malls on giant screens in crystal clear picture quality by the kind courtesy of the HD+ Service platform and its partners.

“As you know, football in many ways defines the passion and the mood of the nation and HD+ is all about delivering world class viewing experiences and the AFCON affords us the opportunity to tap into the country’s passion point and share with all Ghanaians this wonderful experience. We encourage all to visit the various viewing centers in Kumasi, Takoradi and Accra Malls to enjoy the ‘FeeliFeeli’ Experience”. The Marketing Manager of SES HD PLUS, Adelaide Abbiw-Williams, said. 

The AFCON viewing at the various centers will start from 10thof January 2022 and end on the 6th of February 2022, when the competition ends. There will be several promotions and exciting prizes to be won during the public viewing of the AFCON by HD+. 

Ghanaians are also encouraged to take advantage of the Aha Ay3d3 bundle promo being run by HD+ during the period for customers who want to purchase an HD+ Decoder. HD+ is offering up to 40% discount on the purchase of HD+ Decoders. With GHS 130, one can get and HD+ Decoder with two (2) months free subscription while with GHS 150, one gets an HD+ Decoder with five (5) months free subscription or pay GHS 250 and get the HD+ Decoder with a whopping 14-month free subscription. 

First time users need to dial *879#, select option 1, follow the prompts to unlock the channels as well as the free subscription package. Customers can pick from a myriad of options to renew their subscription by dialing *879# for a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual package, which goes for GHS 7, GHS 25, GHS 60 and GHS 210 respectively. HD+ Decoders are available at all Electroland Outlets or a Multi-TV dealer outlet nationwide. 

Ghana has been drawn against Morcocco, Gabon and the Comoros in Group C. The first match for the Black Stars of Ghana comes off on Monday, 10th January 2022. Ghanaians are encouraged to come cheer the black stars to victory while they get the ‘FeeliFeeli’ experience.
