General overseer of Prayer Palace International, Prophet Emmanuel Adjei has urged Pastors and other individuals to be careful how they acknowledge God.
According to him, not doing it the right way can turn out to be very dangerous because, “if care is not taken, they might end up taking God’s glory instead of according him as deserved”.
Talking to Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9 FM’s NsemPii he said, “Introducing yourself as a man of God is not a problem because it is right. You are only stating who you are but in the case of claiming to be the one who caused the miracle to happen is where the issue is”.
He further explained that, once you personalize it and make it look like you’re the reason for the action that took place, you have automatically taken the place of God and the Bible clearly stated, “I share my Glory with no man”.
Prophet Emmanuel Adjei mentioned that the right thing to do is to actually direct every action you take to God since it is his work. “And not take the Glory like some men of God are fond of”, he said.
He also added that most men of God get overwhelmed by their congregation and the praises they shower on them which leads to they taking the Glory for themselves but remember, “It was the pressure from the people, that made Moses loose his inheritance”.
He advised his fellow men of God to be very careful not to let the praises showered on them by their congregation overwhelm them because, “your members can make you powerful and they can also kill you”.
