Information Minister and Member of Parliament for the Ofoase/Ayirebi constituency, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as well as the Communication Minister and Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency, Ursula Owusu have both retained their seats in parliaments.
The Information Minister who won with 6000 plus votes took to his social media handle to thank his constituents even before the results were declared. “Thank God, thank you Ofoase/Ayirebi for growing our margins by 6k extra votes. Most importantly thank you for giving @NAkufoAddo a resounding margin”, his post read.
Ursula Owusu on her part, also claimed victory of Ablekuma West and thanked her constituents in a social media post hours before the results were declared.
Ursula Owusu polled a total of 37,363 as against her main contender’s 30,733.
After she was declared winner she had this to say: “As in our campaign message, we sought four more to do more. And you gave us just that.
