A breath of hope and realization of dream as a Medical Doctor whispers at the corridors of little Isaac Kofi Mensah whose left forearm deteriorated due to decomposition after his stepmother allegedly cut the hand some months ago but left it untreated.
On Thursday, August 8, an extensive online video conferencing measurement was done on the left forearm of KOFI to ensure the limb is printed this summer at the New York Hand-in-Hand camp.
Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morisson reiterated her commitment to seeing KOFI achieve his long awaited dream of becoming a Medical Doctor and hopes by the time he receives his limb, Kofi’s life will most likely look very different again. He may be back in school at MaryLand Montessori located in Agona Swedru and will be well taken care off.
Adding to the development, She thanked the partners in New York, WNY STEM Hub leaders for their hard work for making this possible and WA STEM Team in Ghana for their immense role in ensuring Kofi gain his prosthetic hand.
