Ghanaian singer and TV personality, Klala birth named Daniel Neequaye Kotey, has shared why he isn’t with his former group anymore.
According to the singer, he and his friends came together because of a reality show, so after they finished with the reality show, they had to part ways to go focus on their own things.
He believes that when you want to start a business or want to go somewhere. You need to call people to accompany you, till you get to where you are going to then you say goodbye.
He explained that being in a group made him feel lazy, he wasn’t coming out with his best, because he felt he can’t only be doing one verse in every song.
Speaking with Foster Romanus on e.TV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity Show, he made it known that it was a mutual agreement between him and his group members. They all agreed to go their separate ways.
“I know what I have inside me, so I and they had to part ways. But we are still friends, we still do everything together”, he said
Klala is a defunct traditional trio group, which promoted tradition and African culture through music. The group took part in the second edition of the Nescafe African Revelation but they had to part ways.
Klala is known for songs such as, “Nye he ye Feo, Korkor”.
