Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal Football Club has appointed George Amoako, former Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko as the new Executive Chairman of the club.
The experienced football administrator landed his new role after he was sacked months ago from the Porcupine Warriors job after a new board was set up by the owner, Otumfour Osei Tutu ll.
The club took to their official twitter account to announce his arrival.
“We welcome our new Executive Chairman George Amoako to the club. He brings to bear a rich vein of experience in the game. We are grateful for having him in our fold. It is our prayer that our union will yield many successes in the years that follow. Welcome King George”- they tweeted.
The Kumasi-based club is currently restructuring its management with founder, Alhaji Ahmed Abdul Karim Gruzah still maintaining his position.
Per the new structure;
Mr George Amoako is the (Executive Chairman)
Alhaji Kamil Mohammed is (Executive Vice Chairman)
Sadat Anwar (Chief Executive Officer)
Nana Amankwah Kwakye (Sporting Director)
Awal Mohammed as the Director of communication.
