Presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama is set to address the nation tomorrow on “the integrity challenges of the electoral process and unfolding events that threaten to undermine Ghana’s stability and democracy”, a statement signed by the campaign spokesperson of the NDC revealed.
The former president is expected to speak to the nation from the party headquarters in Accra at 1pm on Thursday, 24th September 2020.
This decision follows the reports of missing names in the voters register during the on-going voter exhibition exercise.
Yesterday, John Mahama cut short his four-day tour of the Bono Region to return to Accra to deal with some inconsistencies in the voters’ register.
The former President expressed his disappointment with the many anomalies in the voters’ register at the ongoing exhibition exercise.
