Father of Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey, Jacob Partey, has described the feeling of watching his son play in the English Premier League as exciting.
According to him, his son(Thomas Partey) brings joy to not only him but all Ghanaians whenever he features for Arsenal.
Partey, who has been a key player in Arsenal’s midfield, will be looking to help the Gunners win their first league trophy since 2004.
Arsenal is currently eight points clear of defending champions Manchester City with just three losses in 28 games.
Speaking in an interview on Happy FM, Partey’s father said,
“Ghanaians are happy when they see Partey play and I know they pray for him too. They should all come in their numbers to support the Black Stars” he told Joe Debrah on Wamputu Sport.
Partey is with the Black Stars preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers double-header against Angola.
They will engage Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday and then travel to Luanda for a rematch on Monday, March 27.
