Ghanaian sex coach and relationship expert, Dzifa Sweetness, has rubbished claims that it is wrong or unsafe to have sex with a pregnant woman.
In an interview with host, Adwen – The Love Doctor on e.TV Ghana’s ‘In Bed with Adwen’, she stated categorically that pregnancy is not a disease and should not be viewed as such. This was in line with answering a question by a viewer on whether or not it is safe to have sex with his pregnant wife.
Dzifa said, “to have sex with a pregnant lady, you have to pamper her and make her feel relaxed. When making love to your pregnant wife, you will have to be calm and not rough”.
According to her, there are different sex positions that can be employed at every stage of the pregnancy to make intercourse enjoyable and ease strain on the pregnancy.
She educated that within the first two months, it is safe to practice missionary. As the pregnancy progresses, she noted that missionary could be unsafe, thus, other positions such as doggie and cow girl could be employed while being careful not to put pressure on the womb.
She went on to advise men to keep personal hygiene especially when they want to get close to their pregnant wives, because they are now in a delicate stage and may acquire infections and other complications when exposed to filth.
