All of a sudden, vibrant up and coming artistes in Ghana especially the rappers have been making use of wordplay in their songs for varied reasons. Perhaps, they’re of the opinion that the use of wordplay shows one is exceptionally creative. Well, wordplay to the lame man means making jokes by using the meanings of words in an amusing way or better still play-on-words.
As a result, most rappers especially the young and vibrant ones have been using wordplay in their songs but some use it wrongly. Eno Barony, Medikal, Strongman, Donzy, Kofi Kinaata, Koo Ntakra, Teephlow, others, have been riding on wordplay whenever one listen to their songs. So, fans of the aforementioned artistes mostly tip their favourite as the best in terms of wordplay.

Interestingly, one twitter user in a sarcastic reply gave the wordplay crown to Medikal of Arab Money Gang fame. He responded: “Massa the King of WordPlay is @AmgMedikal …Herh you go Hear

Regardless, Teephlow recently launched a debut album dubbed ‘Phlowducation’. He features Edem, Reggie Rockstone, Flowkingstone, Worlasi, et al. on the nine tracklist album.
