Rufftown Records signee Wendy Shay has made known her expectations for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).
The ‘Uber Driver’ hit maker revealed in an interview with the host, Foster Romanus, on e.TV Ghana’s ‘The Late Nite Celebrity Show‘ that she will be happy to win all the awards she has been nominated for.
She, however, confirmed that she has been nominated for three categories which included ‘Afro-Pop Song of the Year’ , ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year’.
Wendy Shay told Foster that “I am just hoping I get an award but I am rooting for all of them. I think I have worked really hard for all these nominations and am really honoured. It is not easy to get three nominations in this industry.”
When Foster enquired from Wendy, what she will do if she does not win any of the awards, she replied “Life goes on and I am not giving up. I am going to work hard and give Ghanaians more hits back to back. I am going to give my fans and Ghanaians in general my best.”
Wendy Shay asked her fans to rally behind her and cast their votes so she wins big at the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
