Ghana’s gospel reggae king and front liner, Akesse Brempong has humbly refuted the claim about him being the originator of gospel reggae music in Ghana.
Speaking on Happy FM’s ShowbizXtra, he revealed that gospel reggae existed long before he even broke into main stream music.
“Gospel reggae started somewhere in the 90’s. It was already being done before I even came into the music scene.”
According to him, though he has a history in music directing right from his High School days, he entered into mainstream music about five years ago.
