Professional nail technician, Harry Boo, has disclosed some ways ladies can handle social media pressure.
Talking to Mercy Bee the Ekumfi Princess on e.TV Ghana’s Girl Vibes she said, “First of all, I think one way to handle it is by following people you share the same interest with. You don’t have to be following people whom you don’t know what their source of income is, follow people who can help you expand your brands”.
She mentioned that, it is advisable to follow people you can learn from and get an idea to add up to what you know already.
“When you’re learning from someone, it wouldn’t really give you any negative pressure at the end of the day you rather get impacted positively”she emphasized.
Harry Boo mentioned that, we are too focused on the negative side of social media to the extent that, we refuse to recognize it’s positive side too.
“Social media also has a positive side where people are making money from it and using it to improve and impact others positively using all platforms. So I think we shouldn’t always talk about the bad side we should also talk about the good side so people can know this”she shared.
Esenam Patricia a Business Developer who was also on the show added, “Just to add to what she said, I think another thing that can also help is to look at what you’re focused on”.
Citing an example she said, “So if your focus is on money for example, you have to know that maybe there’s this trend that you want to go by but then also, when you do things,
participate but do not overthink and you will realize that whatever pace you want to move by you’re comfortable and okay with it regardless of what happens around you”.
