Rev. Canon Adama Okai in the thanksgiving sermon under the theme ‘obey God’s word and live long’, admonished the congregation to eschew lies and live Godly lives.
Using Deutronomy 30:16 which reads “For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess”, he advised the newly weds to desist from insulting their spouses infront of their friends.
”To the women here treat your husbands like kings and you will automatically become a queen, because every queen needs a queen. Let your lives be an example to couples going through marital problems” he charged the newly weds.
Speaking at the sidelines of the thanksgiving service, Programmes Manager of Happy FM Emmanuel Akrumah shared his thoughts on the importance of gratitude.
” Thankfulness is a key to life. Thanksgiving is the key that turns every situation around because it changes outlook, and attitudes. There is power in a thankful heart.
As a brand we would continue to uphold the Godly institution of marriage and delivering on our mandate each passing year. Our doors are always open whenever you need a platform to promote an event, “therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing”1st Thesalonians 5:11” he noted.
“On behalf of Happy FM and Global Media Alliance I would like to express appreciation to the Prisons interdenominational Church for their support.
I would also like to commend this year’s sponsors Erata Hotel, Nkulenu Foods, A E House of Suit, Cleaver House, Lizzy Tomato Mix, Best Western Plus Hotel, National Theatre, Aliqua Fashion, 2nd Image, Anointed Lady, Perception Management International, Artist Pizza” he stated.
