Social Media Manager at GB Health Solutions Limited, Maame Yaa Boadi, has disclosed that the company, after five years in business, had their best business year with the strike of the Covid-19 global pandemic.
Talking to Mercy Bee, the Ekumfi Princess on the Girl Vibes show aired on e.TV Ghana, she confessed that going virtual and having to do presentations as well as have meetings on virtual platforms was very difficult and required a lot of dedication and collective effort however, they put in their best so much that on record, the company had its best turnout last year.
“We had to work from home and we had to go virtual. There were trainings organized for us. Though People were struggling, You call a client and they tell you they do not have internet connectivity and sometimes, you’re online with the client and they randomly go off because their lights went out but really, we had our best year”, she said.
Reflecting on how they were able to achieve that in such a difficult year, Maame Yaa mentioned that she believes the training had a hand in it. She added that they were shocked to know 2020 was their best year because they were used to the conventional way of interacting physically with a client and did realize that going digital would give us the results we achieved.
She concluded on that note that technology is solving a lot of problems and helping in the world’s advancement.
