- The Public Affairs and Communication Department of the Ghana Police Service (GPS) in partnership with Creative Storm Networks premieres a Ghana Police Watch Television Series on Ghana’s major television networks, starting from today, 13 March 2018.
- GHANA POLICE WATCH is a factual and reliable weekly TV series that will provide timely information on combating crime in Ghana and protecting citizens and property at all times. GHANA POLICE WATCH will feature news, special reports, police updates and security tips to improve our personal safety as well as that of our communities and the nation as a whole. The flagship series will also serve as an engaging public platform for the discussion of policing in Ghana. The series is hosted by Mr. Israel Laryea, the ace broadcaster.
- The premiere programme of GHANA POLICE WATCH includes a major documentary that opens the doors to the internal working of GPS and developments under the new transformation programme. It also features a special interview with Inspector – General of Police, Mr. David Asante – Apeatu discussing key issues relating to GPS’ response to crime trends, e-policing, officer welfare and steps to tackle police misconduct, amongst many others.
