Nigerian afrobeat singer and songwriter, Fireboy DML, who is signed under Olamide’s YBNL Nation record label, has revealed his plans in music for the year 2021.
The ‘Jealous’ hitmaker said to Y102.5FM’s host of the Myd-Morning Radio Show, Naa Dzama, during a phone interview that although he released an album in 2019 and in 2020, he does not know yet if the sequence will continue this year with another album.
However, he mentioned that there will definitely be more songs coming and more collaborations as well. “I’ve been on a solo run for a while so I’m looking forward to more collaborations this year”
He also disclosed that he will be going on tours if hopefully, the Covid-19 restrictions and safety measures taken by various countries do not hinder him from doing so.
“There’s a lot of things to look forward to in 2021 for the fans. The fans deserve a lot so I’m working on a lot for them. There will definitely be more music this year”, he said.
Fireboy DML recently received a nomination for the Best Male Artiste at the upcoming MTV Africa Music Awards 2021, and he has called on his fans to visit the website www.mtvmamas.com to vote for him.
