Marriage is an aspect of social life in Ghana which is very important yet quite difficult to comprehend in our society.
Ghanaian marriages comes in different forms which includes, the Christian, Muslim and traditional marriages.
Yet none of these can be called a perfect form of marriage since they all come with their own issues.
Chief Executive Office of African Brand Warrior is an African Fatima Ali Mohammed on e.TV Ghana’s Live Chat With Paul gave her thought on what needs to be considered if you want to have a successful marriage.
According to Fatima, culture aspect and religion aspect of marriage is important and have to be considered seriously before one gets into marriage.
Using herself as a case study after having a child with a non-Muslim she said, “This is my view, I am not the only one that has been in this kind of situation. I know other people that have been in this too. As human beings, we try not to look at people based on their colour, religion, based on disability, ability, and so on. Deep down as human beings, somehow, some people around you will always get you to see a part that you never thought you could see. it’s just the way we have been programmed and triggered, so it’s important to marry your kind because it’s easier”.
Fatima is a Kenyan and an advocator for Africa and African brands. She has a solid track record across African markets that lead her to change from boots to heels where needed.
