Mrs. Nosisa Doe, Programmes Manager for eTV Ghana, has revealed her toughest moments working with the station.
According to her, she was only three weeks into the job when her then boss John Osei Tutu Agyeman took a leave and she had to assume his position as General Manager.
The death of former President John Evans Fiifi Atta-Mills happened at the time she had just assumed her boss’ position and she found herself torn between breaking the news as well as getting the staff to do their tasks amidst the shock and mourning.
‘’We were waiting for that confirmation to come through from the Chief of Staff because rumours were already going round. We set up our studios and all but we couldn’t say anything till we got the confirmation that President Evans Atta-Mills had passed away’’. This, she said in an interview with Foster Romanus on the Late Nite Celebrity Show.
The news of the then president’s death had shocked the whole country on that unfortunate Tuesday, which was exactly three days after his 68th birthday.
