Some people call it charm, talisman, fetish and many more. Whereas most do not believe in the power and effectiveness of the supernatural, others also believe in it and rely heavily on them, believing it to be their sole source of protection.
Rev Nyansa Boakwa talking to Justice Boakye Danquah and Dr Kweku Sabah of Sabash Herbal Center on Happy 98.9 FM’s NsemPii said, “juju is destroying homes in Ghana and people are scared to talk about it but, it really is affecting them”.
According to him most children who die at an early age mostly die as a result of frustration in their homes, normally caused by juju and charms.
“You might not know but some people use charms on other persons out of jealousy. You might not know the cause of your pain and suffering but most often, these are the causes” he added,
Justice also stated that most people use charms against others because, ”they’ve seen how bright your future is and want to destroy it out of envy. Hence, they use these charms against you”.
He advised people who do not believe in these spiritual powers to change their mindset because charms actually do exist. He said, ”do you see the power in electric wires when they’re up there? That’s the same way these people and objects carry power without you seeing them physically”.
He finally added that if all these charms and spiritual powers are used for the collective good of mankind, it can help the country develop rapidly rather than destroy us.
