Apostle Eric Yamoah, the Head Pastor of Christfulness Worldwide has voiced that it is of great importance that workers pray at their workplaces every day before work commences.
Interviewed by Paul Anomah-Kordieh on e.TV Ghana’s Live Chat with Paul, he said, ‘’I think that praying at the workplace is the most important thing that any company should consider. You realize that relationships with your prayer partners is different from those you do not pray with. So even though people pray from their homes before coming, they should understand that when they pray together at the office, they stay together.’’
Apostle Yamoah added that unity is powerful, and the Bible states that whatever two or more people agree on, shall be given unto them.
He, therefore, says if workers pray together before going about their duties, there is productivity at the workplace. He shared Mathew 18:19 as a supporting verse to this.
He also noted if there are two or more workers of the same religion aside Christianity, they can also come together and pray because when people are united in doing something, they can achieve anything.
To avoid problems, he recommended that workers show up at least thirty minutes or an hour to the normal work time for the devotion so as not to distract work hours. He shared his opinion that if any worker decides not to come for devotions, it means the person does not support the aim of the company and does not have the company at heart hence, should be penalized.
