Founder of the Ghana ‘She Community’, Philipa Prempeh says she believes that before a nation will be developed, the individual must first be developed and that is what her foundation seeks to achieve.
Interviewed on the second season of e.TV Ghana’s African Women Voices with host, Eunice Tornyi, she explained that the ‘She Community’ is a developmental organization that is focused on building an Africa filled with entrepreneurs, and to teach women on personal development.

More specifically, to bring out women who are financially deprived, and women who are not self-sustained, help them develop themselves personally by building their talents or skills, and make great entrepreneurs out of them. Entrepreneurs that inspire and tell the story of Africa.
‘’Currently, She Community Ghana has about 870 members in our network. We are into entrepreneurship and we are into personal development, because we believe that before a people or a nation will be developed, it starts from the development of the individual’’, she said.

The Ghana She Community, basically, is of the understanding that the development of the nation weighs greatly on the development of the individual, thus, they have taken up the initiative to build skilled but poor women, so they can in turn build the nation and Africa as a whole.
