Executive Director of the Springboard Road Show Foundation, Mrs. Comfort Ocran, has shared some stories of positive change that occurred in the lives of people, all thanks to the Springboard show.
Interviewed on the African Women’s Voices show on e.TV Ghana, she shared with host, Eunice Tornyi that even though Covid-19 hit hard and no one knew how to respond to it, she is happy that they were able to think of a programme such as the Springboard Road Show that was very needed at that time.
She mentioned however, that to her, the most relevant part of this is the positive messages that they received, with people sharing how much the show is impacting their lives. According to Mrs. Ocran, they received messages via Whatsapp from people, saying things like “I felt like my world had ended but based on the core programme, I now feel that I can go forward”.
She continued that people also sent messages saying that they lost their businesses, others saying that they got depressed and some even suicidal, however, after listening to the lessons from the counselling programme online or on Facebook, Hangout and other platforms, they now see the world as a beautiful place despite their troubles.
“I just can’t say enough about how much Springboard has been able to reach even further than we envisaged previously based on the core programme and other programmes that we ran last year”, Comfort Ocran excitedly concluded.
The Springboard Road Show Foundation, initiated by Albert and Comfort Ocran, is the nation’s foremost organization that is dedicated to leadership, personal development, career growth and building a good society. Over the years, Springboard has been dedicated to growing the human capital of people across Ghana and beyond, with the hope and desire to influence many more and to continue to provide opportunities that change the trajectory of their entire lives or careers and set them on the road to success.
