Character building has always never been easy. It is said that what brings out a person’s real character is money and power. But have you considered the enormous character building phases one goes through when he or she has to endure being with other people-and in this particular instance living with people you had no power of choosing? Thus, positioning you at a point where all you need to do is to endure while it lasts. These were some of the experiences Ada and Eyram, finalists for the second edition of the Live Inside And Win The Ride competition had to share.
Reminiscing on their experiences with Foster Romanus on e.TV Ghana’s Flagship show, The Late Nite Celebrity Show, both ladies were open about the challenges they had to endure living in the car with four different individuals. The twist and turns on what really was right and how to go about things was a major problem. Owing to their varied backgrounds, it was clear they would have a lot to deal with.
Character is built through experience, upbringing and learning thus, what may be valid in one circle may not be necessarily valid in another. This led to name calling and actual fights in some instances in the course of the contest. Ada recalled how inmates called her a “talker” while Eyram was a “SlayQueen”.
In totality, both ladies admitted the experience in the car has been of great help and would immensely shape their lives for the future.
The Live Inside And Win The Ride reality show was designed to bring together five hitherto unknown persons to co-habit in a car with the last person standing driving away the car. Eyram Gh was crowned the winner of the Renault Duster last Friday as the show climaxed.
