Security expert Richard Kumadoe says he has observed how swift the police has been in handling the recent robbery that left one of their members dead.
According to him, the public will expect this same swiftness when it comes to investigations into crimes that claim the lives of civilians.
He believes that if the Police is able to apply this same swiftness in handling crimes involving civilians, then the trust of the public in the police will be heightened.
He told Samuel Eshun on e.TV Ghana’s Fact Sheet show: “Definitely the investigation was swift because one of their men had been gunned down; our condolences to the family. But what the public will expect is that when it is about everybody we should see the same swiftness.
We can only hope and pray that the same approach used in this case will be applied in all part of the country and that will put trust in the public relations and public engagements of the police”.
Richard further expressed confidence that the Ghana Police will carry out investigations with swiftness as it is being done in the recent robbery attack.
