Former Black Stars Assistant Coach, David Duncan would be the resident pundit to sit throughout e.TV Ghana’s #Afconhub2021 pre and post match discussions. He will provide previews, reviews, in-depth analysis and tactical breakdown on all the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) games with support from other seasoned sports personalities.

Urging Ghanaians and football enthusiasts to join e.TV Ghana’s #Afconhub2021, Coach Duncan said, “I’m going to be on e.TV throughout the 33rd edition of AFCON in Cameroon. I’m trusting you to be here with me to give you all the technical, intuitive and intelligent football analysis that will be needed. e.TV is your preferred destination for all the AFCON games.”

Programmes Manager of e.TV Ghana, Cosby Bikpe on his part extolled the contributions of Coach Duncan to the sports fraternity.

“Coach Duncan’s depth when it comes to sports, particularly football cannot be overlooked. He knows his stuff and coming on board for our discussions is a plus. We are grateful to him, for joining our #AfconHub2021 discussions to share his rich knowledge with our viewers”.

Coach Duncan during his managerial career took charge of some local clubs in the Ghana Premier League including the elite clubs; Accra Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

He was also appointed Coach of the Ghana U-17 in 2004, where he led the team win the 2005 African Under-17 Championship in Gambia.

The 33rd Edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), kicked off on Sunday, January 9 with host nation, Cameroon winning their first game of the competition with a 2-1 score line against Burkina Faso.

The tournament was originally scheduled to be played in June and July 2021. However, due to unfavourable climatic conditions during that period, it was rescheduled to occur between 9 January and 6 February 2021. On 30 June 2020, the CAF moved the tournament for the second time to January 2022 following the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic across the continent, whilst retaining the name 2021 Africa Cup of Nations
