Adepa Cee of the Mentor 2 fame who is popularly known as Cee in an interview on e.TV’s Late Nite Celebrity show revealed how much she thinks she and any other gospel musician should be paid.
Cee speaking with Eddy Blay Jnr was not very excited about how some old gospel musicians are currently living of which she blamed it on unavailable structures then which would have helped in ensuring that these musicians are well paid for their work when they were in their limelight.
Eddy asked her at what point does she draw the line between business and doing the work of God.
She responded that “the hard worker eats from his wages”
She continued that “as much as we ought to charge for performances we don’t have to charge in a way that will not go against what the bible says. It should be enough to take care of my daily needs”.

“If you want me to perform for free you should not forget that I drove to perform, I have to put on clothing, and I have family members I have to take care of.” She said in a further explanation to the interjection that people always want gospel musicians to perform for free.
Cee added “if you see me outside and looking messy you will point to me saying eeeeeiiiiii is this Cee looking like that? . . . You made me look like that because you did not help me gain a stand-in life since I don’t have any career in beside the music.”
Appealing to the general public and fans she said: “So it is fans and the people out there who have to help us also stand on our feet.”
