The ongoing Ghana Football Association Presidential election saw a total of 92 delegates show up for the Elective Congress held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The Elective Congress commenced with a roll call of delegates from all 16 premier league clubs, Division One League clubs, Women’s Elite league Clubs and other constituent bodies.
The official who conducted the roll call, by name Mr. Asante invited the President of the Normalization Committee, Dr. Kofi Amoah to take over the affairs of the congress after the row call was duly accomplished.
In ending the roll call, Mr. Asante said: “Mr. President, after taking the roll call and looking at the attendance, I wish to inform you that with 92 members out of the total membership of Congress present, Congress is duly constituted to do business in accordance with article 28 of the GFA statutes 2019.”
The GFA presidential election is currently taking place at the College of Physicians and Surgeons as six candidates namely Kurt Okraku, Amanda Clinton, Nana Yaw Amponsah, George Ankomah Mensah, Fred Pappoe and George Afriyie battle out for the presidential seat at the Ghana Football Association.
